Forsstrom is a global technology leader in HF welding of PVC and PU materials. We are in an expansion phase where we develop & manufacture machines, and now we are strengthening our After Market team with a driven, technically interested, and proactive inside sales representative.

This is the role for you if you want to work in the flow between customer, technology, and logistics, and if you enjoy staying one step ahead to create a smooth customer experience and high operational reliability.

About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative in the Service Department, you play a key role in developing our after-sales business. You manage the entire order flow regarding spare parts and service cases, but an equally important part is your proactive work: capturing needs, suggesting solutions before the customer asks, and contributing to an efficient and well-functioning service flow.

You work closely with the Service/Aftermarket Manager as well as our customers, agents, and partners, becoming a central part of our long-term customer relationships.

Your main responsibilities

Proactive work (key area)

• Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and open cases to drive the business forward.
• Identify recurring needs from customers and suggest spare parts, service, or upgrades.
• Work data-driven with inventory levels, lead times, and customer patterns to improve processes.
• Initiate internal improvements of routines, documentation, and workflows.
• Ensure customers receive the “next step” without having to ask for it.

Order Management & Customer Support

• Manage incoming orders and service requests.
• Register and follow up on orders in the business system Monitor.
• Communicate with customers and agents to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Pick, package, and book shipments for spare parts and components.
• Ensure correct documents and deliveries on time.
• Update inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing.
• Provide technical support for spare parts sales.

Technical Support

• Perform partial assembly and final assembly of electrical items and spare parts.
• Repair and function test electrical components.
• Document repairs and update service logs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a proactive, professional service experience that increases customer satisfaction and builds long-term relationships.
• Ensure efficient order flows with the right delivery at the right time.
• Contribute to optimized processes within spare parts management and technical support.
• Perform assembly and repairs according to Forsstrom's quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to strengthen the entire After Market flow.

Your profile – experience and skills

• Technical and/or sales experience/education.
• Experience with industrial machines and production.
• Knowledge of Monitor is an advantage as well as the Office suite.
• Experience in order management, warehouse logistics, and spare parts management.
• Familiarity with assembly, testing, and repair of electrical items.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Structured, service-oriented, and enjoys working in a solution-oriented and proactive manner.
